The Community Pantry at Eliot-Hine provides fresh and shelf-stable food, household items, and personal items like toiletries and period products to school and community members. Everyone is welcome to shop!

We are partnering with the Capital Area Food Bank to extend our reach beyond Eliot-Hine, with a special focus on our immediate community.

Summer Hours

This summer, the pantry will be open:
  • Thursday, June 20, 2–3 pm
  • Thursday, June 27, 2–3 pm
  • July 1–14: By appointment only; please call the main office at (202) 939-5380 to arrange a time.
  • Thursday, July 18, 2–3 pm
  • Thursday, July 25, 2–3 pm
      • Thursday, August 1, 2–3 pm
        • Thursday, August 8, 2–3 pm
          • Thursday, August 15, 2–3 pm

The Community Pantry relies on private donations to supply household and personal items. Monetary donations have an immediate impact and are greatly appreciated! We are administered through the Eliot-Hine PTO, and donations are tax-deductible.
