Getting to Eliot-Hine

Students walk, ride, bike, and skateboard to Eliot-Hine!

Metrorail and Metrobus. By Metrorail, Eliot-Hine is a 5-minute walk from the Stadium-Armory station (Blue, Orange, Silver lines). By Metrobus, Eliot-Hine is accessible by lines B2, D6, and 96. Through the Kids Ride Free program, students with a DC One Card can ride Metrorail and Metrobus to and from school for free from 5:30–9 am and 2–8 pm. All students are eligible; please check in with Ms. Jackson or Ms. Adams in the main office during lunch or after dismissal.

Biking. Students who choose to bike should wear a helmet, and bring a bike lock to secure their bike during the school day. Bike racks are available on both sides of the building.

Drop off or pick up by car. If you are arriving by car, we encourage you to drop off on C Street, as Constitution Avenue is very narrow and can get very congested at drop off and pick up. On Constitution Avenue, please note that the front of the building is reserved for buses for students who receive transportation to and from school. Students should be dropped off next to the athletic fields; please plan a pick up location with your student.
